In Memoriam: Shigonawa Bingo, – – Nov 23, 2025
The news of Bingo Shigonawa’s passing has reached me, and it carries a real sense of loss. His work shaped parts of the kinbaku and BDSM world in ways that are undeniable. His way of approaching rope, his mindset, and the way he saw connection all resonate strongly with my own point of view.
Bingo had a rare ability to make rope feel alive. He understood tension, intention, and presence. The timing was never right for our paths to cross, and that is something I feel now more strongly than ever.
Bingo, perhaps we will meet somewhere “up there”.
Until then, you will be missed.
