Bob Roos, working as RopeMarks, has received recognition for his kinbaku, bondage, photography, film and online work since the early years of RopeMarks.

BoundCon Awards
At the 14th edition of BoundCon in 2017, the event held its first BoundCon Awards.

The BoundCon Best Rigger award was particularly meaningful to me: recognition of my kinbaku and bondage work after many years of developing and refining my own approach.

Club RopeMarks
Club RopeMarks, recipient of 2nd place for Best Website at the BoundCon Awards 2017.
The website award recognised another side of RopeMarks as well: the photography, films and online work that had grown around the rope itself.

Bondage Awards
After several years of absence, the Bondage Awards returned in 2012. RopeMarks placed in five categories:

The placements for Extreme Bondage and Bondage Movie meant the most to me.
Extreme bondage has always been an important part of my work. The movie category also included Jumpcut, the first official movie in which we performed.
2009 · Best Rigger
RopeMarks placed 7th in the Best Rigger category in the 2009 Bondage Awards, adding another Best Rigger placement to the earlier RopeMarks awards history.
SIGNY Awards · 2001–2005
During the early years of RopeMarks, my rope work, the website and people I worked with also received recognition in the international SIGNY Awards. These surviving award graphics document part of the early history of RopeMarks and its recognition within the bondage community.

From the Archive
Beyond the formal BoundCon, Bondage Awards and SIGNY Awards results, RopeMarks was also featured, recommended or recognised by specialist bondage and BDSM websites. Some of these sites have since disappeared, but their original badges remain part of the RopeMarks archive.
