Nawaato translates to the actual marks that can be left on the skin by rope; rope marks. By using the abridging character "之", often used in ancient tradition and poetry, the entire word becomes a more poetic version of itself, i.e. "the marks of the rope". All together these three characters represent the Japanese writing for the name I use; "RopeMarks" -
