This 9mm rice/straw rope is the most traditional rope for Japanese rope bondage (shibari, kinbaku) you can find. This rope is also used by "the father of modern kinbaku" Itoh Seiu. What is aranawa? Please see our glossary entry . This rope is direct from Japan and suitable for the connoisseur of Japanese rope bondage and advanced students alike. Of course suitable not just for Japanese bondage, but for all other bondage’s where you want a bit of additional sensations. Perhaps make it wet, it won't shrink. We recommend using this rope singled in lengths of 4m instead of doubled up 8m. This item can be bought by the meter for €2.45/m, please contact me if you need different lengths. This rope is not suitable for suspension. Ready for immediate use.
