I’m Bob Roos, rigger, teacher, performer, and the person behind RopeMarks. I’ve been working with rope since 1999, and over the years I’ve become very particular about the materials and tools I use.
This shop is a collection of products I personally use, trust, or have selected because they serve a clear purpose in my own Kinbaku practice. Good rope and well-chosen gear should support the experience, not get in the way of it.
You’ll find Japanese jute rope, rope care, accessories and a small selection of specialist gear here. The range is intentionally limited. I’d rather offer a few things I know well than fill the shop with products simply because I can.
