The rope in the RopeMarks shop is selected from rope I use and know from my own Kinbaku practice and teaching.
I currently stock Japanese jute rope from Ogawa and Nawaya, alongside aranawa. Different makers, diameters and finishes give rope noticeably different handling characteristics, so there is no single rope that is right for everyone.
