It’s R.A.R.E… it’s playtime!

Dear rope lovers! You can now sign up for the first edition of R.A.R.E., The RopeMarks Amsterdam Rope Event! This is a peer rope++ and the first edition takes place on April 17 from 14:00 to 18:00.

What is R.A.R.E.?

R.A.R.E. is a peer rope++, meaning: nude bondage is allowed and encouraged, just as sexual interactions with the partner(s) you bring. Our location has a warm vibe to it and together with you we want to create a soft and intimate ropesphere with ambient/minimal music, warm lighting and mattresses for when you’re not tying.  We’ll start the afternoon with an brief  explanation of the event and introduction of the participants. After that it’s playtime! You’re free to follow your flow, or follow a short (max half an hour) inspirational miniworkshop. We do recommend to have some breaks in between and enjoy other peoples play!

Note: R.A.R.E. is not a wild, kinky party, but a space where you can do what you enjoy, while respecting other peoples play.

Why R.A.R.E.?

This kind of event is not very common (yet!) in the Netherlands, but for me bondage and sex are interrelated and I’d love to bring a bit more rawness and real-sexy-kinky play to our scene.

The location

The location is approximately 80m2 and with a maximum of 7 couples or triples we can keep enough distance from each other. The space we’re in has a powerful extraction system that completely refreshes the air every 7 minutes. On top of that we can open opposing windows for continuous fresh air. We’ll have a number of bamboo beams and single points for upline-fun and suspensions, mats are also available. Coffee, tea, lemonade and some snacks are provided for.

What to bring

Please come as a couple or triple. If you want something else to drink than what we provide for please bring it in a bottle/container that you can close. Open glasses/bottles are not allowed in the play area. The available mats are owned by the location, so please bring your own sheets/blankets to cover the matrasses for hygiene. You can also bring your own mats. Bring your own rope and everything else (toys, clothing, etc.) that you like to have at hand for a fun afternoon/evening!

R.A.R.E, Safety & COVID-19

Safety comes first. We’ll be watching out for the participants safety and fun. We allow a maximum of 16 people, including ourselves. During the miniworkshop we kindly ask you to respect the COVID-19 rules and other peoples health, safety and comfort. Please only tie with your own rope partner(s). If there are more couples then suspension points we’ll make sure everybody has playtime.

Refunding & COVID-19

We are keeping our fingers (arms, legs and toes) crossed that this event can take place. Should we reach a point where I have to cancel, also last minute, you will be refunded in full.  When the cancellation comes from your side, you will be fully refunded up to two weeks before the start date. Within two weeks before the start date you will receive a 75% refund. In the last week before the start date you will receive a 65% refund. Within three days before the event I am unable to refund you. You can always replace yourself for another couple or triple, you will then be fully refunded. This scale has to do with the costs I incur to set up this event. When you do need to cancel for COVID-19 reasons I will do some calculations and when I keep getting out of the costs when refunding you in full, I’ll do that.
