SUMMARY:RopeMarks Ryu #2\, Kinbaku workshop\, static suspensions
DESCRIPTION:You can sign up here!\nSold out\, or you are not sure yet if you can make it\, get on the first come first serve waiting list! \nThe Workshop\nLevel: Solid beginner / Intermediate \, \nPrerequisite:\n    rigger: You are confident with a 2 TK/gote\, any style. A plus is knowing the RopeMarks style gote. You have a basic confidence with uplines on a bamboo.\n    model: You are able to recognize and communicate good/bad bodily sensations and are familiar with the differences between nerve and circulation impingement. You are  comfortable in a basic gote. A pre is experience being in full body ties. \nThis is a full-day workshop where you’ll learn both the art of suspending and being suspended. Suspensions are visually stunning and can be incredibly exhilarating\, but they do come with risks. Our aim is to equip you with essential knowledge and foster a safe\, shared experience\, empowering you to apply what you’ve learned once you return home. Therefore\, we emphasize safety\, technique\, and communication\, progressing your skills for takeoff. \nWe’ll prepare you for suspensions by focusing on several key aspects. First and foremost\, you’ll enhance your gote tying skills to ensure they are proficient and reliable. Next\, you’ll improve your uplines tying skills to ensure they meet the demands of your desired suspensions. Finally\, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of how forces act on the human body during suspensions\, keeping safety as a top priority throughout the process. \nIn Japanese rope bondage\, the gote is often the core of any suspension. In this workshop\, we will not only use gotes but also explore how the gote is a classic element of Japanese rope bondage and kinbaku. As this is the tradition taught by RopeMarks\, we find it crucial to start with the gote. During this initial part of the workshop\, we’ll use your gote tying and receiving skills to assess your general proficiency in Japanese rope bondage. As a famous kinbakushi once said: “Kinbaku begins and ends with a gote.” \nNext\, we’ll build on your knowledge of the gote and uplines\, guiding you through three full-body suspensions. During these sessions\, we’ll introduce several smaller ties to add variety\, fun and challenges to your suspensions. \nWe recognize that not everyone will have the same level of proficiency with tying or being in rope. Therefore\, we’ve designed this workshop to accommodate different skill levels\, allowing each tie to be performed at a pace that feels comfortable for you and your partner. Regardless of your starting point\, your skills will progress to the next level. By the end of this workshop\, both riggers and rope models will have advanced to an intermediate or strong intermediate skill level. \nProgram\nTimetable\n10:30 Doors open\n11:00 Introductions and workshop part 1\n13:00 Lunch break\n14:00 Workshop part 2\n17:00 End of workshop\n18:00 Location must be cleared \nTopics\nThe topics that we will address are: \n\nGote refresher\nUplines refresher\nThree full body gote-based suspensions\nA handful of smaller ties to have fun with during your suspensions\nAnatomy & safety\nCommunication\nRope handling\nAesthetics\n\nEach topic will include safety information\, details to improve your rope handling\, specific techniques to improve your tying and to deepen the connection with your partner. During the workshop there’ll be plenty of room for experimenting and personal advice. \nThe Practicalities\n\nCome as a familiar rigger and model couple.\nPlease wear comfortable clothing.\nOur workshops are clothes on and non-sexual workshop\, but no doubt you’ll be inspired to bring your new skills into your private intimate play at home.\nFor the models: you’ll help your rigger by choosing a tight-fitting outfit.\nBring at least 8 pieces of rope\, ~8-10m in length\, 5-6mm thick.\nIt will be helpful to have a few shorter pieces\, i.e. 2m and 4m in your set.\nIf you need rope\, follow this link: https://ropemarks.com/rope/ .\nWe will take care of coffee\, tea and snacks.\nDrinking inside the dōjō is only allowed from a bottle/container that you can close.\nThis workshop will be held in the English language.\nPlease also see our  FAQ .\n\n \nI want to participate\nGreat! Over his career he studied in the land of the rising sun under the lineage of the late Akechi Denki (明智伝鬼) and Naka Akira (奈加あきら). RopeMarks’ work reflects the traditional techniques taught by these leading kinbakushi but is vastly complemented with his own distinct and unique style. \nHe is famous for his energetic performances in Japanese rope bondage in which he combines traditional kinbaku with  his own distinct and unique style.\nWho’s Maya? \nMaya brings warmth\, curiosity and a deeply relational form of submission into rope. She does not experience bondage simply as a pose or a technical exercise\, but as a way of connecting\, surrendering and allowing herself to be led. \nShe is playful and emotionally open\, drawn to intensity\, control and the tension between being challenged and being cared for. In rope\, her body\, reactions and vulnerability become part of the conversation. Trust\, desire\, struggle and a certain dirtiness can all exist alongside tenderness and genuine connection. \nWhat matters is not only how the rope looks\, but what happens between us while the tie is being created. \nMaya on RopeMarks\n\n\n\n  \n  \nRopeMarks Ryu | RopeMarks Shop | Telegram group | Mailinglist | Contact | \n\n \n \n RopeMarks

SUMMARY:RopeMarks Kinbaku workshop\, Playful & Dirty
DESCRIPTION:You can sign up here!\nSold out\, or you are not sure yet if you can make it\, get on the first come first serve waiting list! \nThe Workshop\nLevel: Intermediate / Upper Intermediate  \,\nPrerequisite:\n    rigger: Confident with multiple uplines\, load sharing\, and static suspension positions\, able to troubleshoot rope structures.\n    model: Comfortable in static suspensions and moderate endurance\, able to maintain posture and communicate fatigue. \nPlayful & Dirty is a full-day kinbaku masterclass about what happens when technique stops being the goal and becomes a tool for play. \nBy popular demand\, I am bringing Playful & Dirty to Amsterdam for the first time. For this first edition\, the workshop has been shaped into one focused and complete day. \nPatterns and structures are useful. They give us a common language and something concrete to teach. But following a pattern is not the same as creating a scene. The rope may determine how the body is restrained\, but intention\, timing\, body handling and the interaction between partners determine what the bondage becomes. \nDuring this workshop\, we explore how rope can create play\, control\, sexuality\, exposure\, tension\, surrender and connection. What that means will differ between couples. Playful may be teasing\, intimate\, funny or deliberately awkward. Dirty may be sexual\, painful\, controlling\, humiliating or intensely personal. \nThere is no single correct interpretation. \nWe begin with floor-based rope. Clear structures give us room to work with proximity\, movement\, restraint\, access and vulnerability. Instead of concentrating only on completing the bondage\, we look at what happens throughout the tying process. How do you handle the body? When do you apply pressure? When do you pause? How does the model participate\, resist\, soften or respond? \nLater in the day\, we introduce bamboo. \nBamboo is not used merely as decoration. Its rigidity changes the body\, the available movement and the way control is experienced. It can open\, separate\, support\, restrict or display the model and gives the rigger new ways to create pressure\, asymmetry and controlled intensity. \nThroughout the workshop\, we use concrete ties and recognizable kinbaku elements. These are not presented as fixed routines that must be copied exactly. They are structures to understand\, adapt and make personal. \nModels are active participants in this process. Their reactions\, choices\, limits and feedback influence the direction of the tie. Both partners are responsible for the experience they create together. \nThis is not a workshop about collecting patterns or producing polished photographs. It is about learning how to make rope responsive\, physical\, sexual and alive. \nBy the end of the workshop\, participants will have gained practical structures and new ways to use them\, but more importantly\, a clearer understanding of how to turn technique into play and bondage into a shared scene. \nBecause a tie is not the scene.\nThe scene happens in how you use the tie. \nProgram\nTimetable\n10:30 Doors open\n11:00 Introductions and workshop part 1\n13:00 Lunch break\n14:00 Workshop part 2\n17:00 End of workshop\n18:00 Location must be cleared \nTopics\nThe topics that we will explore include: \n\nUsing intention to turn a rope structure into a scene;\nTiming\, pacing\, pauses and escalation;\nBody handling\, positioning and movement;\nPlayful control\, teasing and physical interaction;\nExposure\, access and vulnerability;\nWorking with pressure\, restraint\, resistance and surrender;\nAdapting familiar rope structures to your own interests and dynamic;\nThe model as an active participant in the tie;\nIntroducing bamboo as a tool for restraint\, positioning\, exposure and controlled intensity;\nMaintaining communication and safety as the experience becomes more demanding\n\n \nEach topic will combine concrete rope structures with practical ways to make them more personal\, responsive and alive. Throughout the workshop\, there will be room for experimentation\, adaptation and individual feedback. \nThe Practicalities\n\nYou participate as a familiar rope couple and are comfortable exploring playful\, erotic or dirty intentions together.\nThis is a clothes-on workshop.\nSexuality may be part of the subject matter and the intention behind the rope\, but sexual activity is not part of the workshop itself.\nPlease wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.\nModels are advised to wear a close-fitting outfit that makes it easier to see and assess the position of the rope.\nBring at least 12 pieces of rope\, ~8-10m in length\, 5-6mm thick.\nIt will be helpful to have a few shorter pieces\, i.e. 2m and 4m in your set.\nIf you need rope\, follow this link: https://ropemarks.com/rope/ .\nWe will take care of coffee\, tea and snacks.\nDrinking inside the dōjō is only allowed from a bottle/container that you can close.\nThis workshop will be held in the Dutch language\, but if needed we switch to English.\nPlease also see our  FAQ .\n\n \nI want to participate\nGreat! In recent years\, she has also explored the top side of rope\, adding new layers to her understanding and teaching. Not drawn to one specific style made her open and having or willing experience different styles. \nIn workshops\, Ineya focuses on building communication\, awareness\, and mutual understanding. She offers insights from the bottom perspective that help both riggers and bottoms connect more consciously and safely—emphasizing curiosity\, emotional depth\, and the unique energy that rope can create. \nIneya on RopeMarks\n\n\n\n  \n  \nRopeMarks Ryu | RopeMarks Shop | Telegram group | Mailinglist | Contact | \n\n \n \n RopeMarks
