We often get questions about bondage, technical questions "how do you do this?", "how do you do that?", "where did -you- learn to do it?" or emotional related questions "Why do you want to be tied up?" or "does it hurt to be in bondage?". Instead of answering the same questions over and over again we've started organizing workshops where we will give you information about Japanese bondage, shibari (a.k.a. kinbaku).

Our first Japanese bondage (shibari / kinbaku) style workshop was presented way back in 2000. Ever since we've given more workshops than we can remember. We've taught Japanese bondage to people from all over the world; to name a few countries: USA, England, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Korea and yes... Japan :). This list keeps getting longer with almost every workshop. We are very proud that people from all over this globe are traveling to Amsterdam, the Netherlands to participate in one of our workshops.

Our workshops will focus on the techniques and reasons of the common denominator in the multitude of bondage's you find when you view Japanese bondage images and/or video's. We will pick a common denominator, name it and explain it. This way the information is of interest for the deshi (pupil; apprentice) but also for the m-jo (the female captured in rope) or m-o (the male captured in rope). Safety issues will be addressed where needed without cluttering descriptions of techniques.

1. Public workshops

Our public workshops are organized by us, where we will teach you Japanese inspired rope bondage. When we start planning a new public workshop we send invitations to everyone interested with the details of the workshop. At that point you can decide if you want to participate or not. 2. Private lessons

Our private lessons are organized by you! Our private lessons are held in the comfort of your own home or choice of location and we come to you. Have us teach you Japanese inspired rope bondage one-on-one, or invite friends and create an intimate group experience studying and practicing the details of the wonderful world of Japanese bondage. Our private lessons allow us to go deeper into the details of the buzz "shibari" (a.k.a kinbaku) that everybody is talking about. Workshops for groups and organizations are like the public workshops we teach, but have all the properties of our private lessons.
